Barton Square |
The Trafford Centre’s new homewares-focussed extension, Barton Square, has signed a range of new brands including Marks & Spencer Home; the first HomeSense store in the North, a tri-branded Moben Sharps and Dolphin store, the first Natuzzi store in the North-West and a new branch for Laura Ashley. They join existing occupiers Dwell, Next Home, British HOME Stores, and Habitat.
The 25,000-sq ft M&S Home store will trade over two floors and includes an 80-cover M&S Café. And Canadian brand HomeSense has taken 19,000 sq ft while Moben Sharps and Dolphin will showcase kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms from 5,000 sq ft.
Gordon McKinnon, Director of Operations at The Trafford Centre, said: "We’re delighted to welcome such a strong contingent of stores to Barton Square, we believe making the Square the premier homeware destination in the North-west. Interest in this new concept has been incredibly high, leading to Barton Square being 80 per cent let within a few weeks of opening.”
