The SCEPTRE Awards, rewarding the best practice and the best people in the UK's shopping centre industry, are now bigger and better than ever, and the deadline is fast approaching.
The Awards represent the premiere accolade in the industry, and in 2008 are entering their eighth successful year. The superb ballroom at the Dorchester in London's Park Lane will see the Awards presented in 15 categories on Wednesday, June 18.
As in 2007, the Centre Manager of the Year awards will be divided into three specific size bands: small (up to 200,000 sq ft), medium (200,001 to 450,000 sq ft) and large (over 450,001 sq ft). Each band will be open to managers of shopping centres, outlet malls and on-site managed retail parks.
Reflecting the growth of the event, three new categories have been introduced for 2008. These are:Developer of the Year, Managing Agent of the Year and Security Team of the Year, meaning that there is now a category for everyone operating in the industry. Entry/nomination forms will soon be mailed to readers, or you can enter online, or download your entry forms at: http://www.sceptreawards.co.uk
The final date for entries is April 18 2008, so if you haven't already done so, please send us your entries and nominations soon, including your choice of Retailer of the Year.
