The retailer line-up for the Eagles Meadow shopping centre in Wrexham has been boosted with five new signings. Wilson Bowden Developments' 400,000-sq ft shopping and leisure scheme is now 75 per cent let ahead of its October 2008 opening.
The latest operators associated with the project include River Island, Jane Norman, 3 Store, Starbucks and Clinton Cards. Debenhams and Marks & Spencer have already signed up to anchor Eagles Meadow with units 90,000 sq ft and 55,000 sq ft respectively, together with a 30,000-sq ft Next and an 18,000-sq ft H&M.
Wilson Bowden Developments' development manager David Wilford said: "Eagles Meadow is appealing to some of the best high street retailers in the business, and we are continuing to work closely with our agents to attract even more big names to Wrexham."
He said discussions are also underway with three restaurant operators to take units on the first floor of Eagles Meadow, adjacent to a 24-lane bowling alley and an eight-screen Odeon cinema.
