The Atrium, Camberley |
Crest Nicholson Regeneration and Standard Life Investments have let two more units at The Atrium, their £130m mixed-use development in Camberley, Surrey.
Italian restaurant operator Prezzo will occupy a 3,343-sq ft unit at the entrance to The Atrium on St Mary’s Road. And noodle operator Wagamama is to take a 3,812-sq ft restaurant in the scheme’s central atrium area alongside Chiquito, Frankie & Benny’s and Café Rouge. Both Prezzo and Wagamama have taken 25-year leases.
These new lettings mean only one unit remains available out of the Atrium’s 34,557-sq ft restaurant element ahead of opening later this year.
The Atrium combines 247,000 sq ft of integrated town centre retail and leisure space, including a cinema and bowling complex with 217 one & two bedroom apartments totalling 107,000 sq ft and a 680-space car park Other tenants already signed up include a nine-screen Vue cinema, a 22-lane Bowlplex, retailers Next, Zavvi and Sportsworld, together, and a range of well known restaurant operators.
Martin Mortimer, development director at Crest Nicholson Regeneration, said the two high quality restaurants operators would “add to the wide and varied offer that we are creating at The Atrium.” And he added: “To have just one restaurant unit remaining available ahead of our opening this autumn is a fantastic achievement and is an indication of how positive operators are about the scheme and Camberley’s fantastic catchment.”
