The specialist retail agency Leslie Furness has been bought by King Sturge. All six of its directors will become partners at King Sturge as the firm looks to beef up its retail representation, and all 11 employees have been offered posts at the new firm.
Leslie Furness had a strong relationship with Land Securities on projects like Whitefriars in Canterbury, Fremlin Walk in Maidstone and Willow Place in Corby. The merged practice has a number of significant shopping centre instructions including Eden in High Wycombe; Northern Quarter in Dublin; Northern Quarter in Portsmouth; Delamere Place in Crewe; Evolution in Corby and the Lewisham and W12 centres in London.
Charles Miller, head of in-town retail at King Sturge, said: “We are delighted to have attracted a leading retail company which is a highly regarded operator in the retail sector with close links to retailer and property companies. By joining forces we will become a significant player within the sector with a proven track record on delivery of high profile projects.
