The Mall has let Unit 31, The Mall to Bonmarché on a new 10-year lease at £82,500 pax. The unit provides 3,196 sq ft of sales space. Fawley Watson Booth was letting agent.


? BIRMINGHAM

Azendi has taken Unit 29, the Pavilions, providing 1,001 sq ft, on a new 10-year lease at £85,000 pa or 10 per cent of turnover, whichever is the greater. Kitchen La Frenais Morgan and Rowley Hughes Thompson are letting agents for UBS' Triton Fund and Dresler Smith advised the tenant.


? CANTERBURY

Three more retailers have signed up to take space in the refurbished and extended Marlowe Arcade. Hobbs has taken the 1,885-sq ft Unit 5 on a new 15-year lease at £125,000 pa. Swarovski took the 918-sq ft Unit 21 on a 10-year lease at £85,000 pa. And Czech retailer Pietro Filipi has taken 1,396 sq ft at Unit 20 for its first UK store, paying £122,500 pa for a 10-year lease. Leslie Furness and Cushman & Wakefield advised Land Securities. Stephen Kane & Co represented Hobbs and Ashley Phillips Selwyn, Swarovski.


? DONCASTER

Teesland has let Unit 20, Frenchgate, to Garage Street Shoes on a new 10-year lease at £76,500 pax. The unit provides 830 sq ft of sales space. Fawley Watson Booth was letting agent and Dresler Smith advised the tenant.


? DUNSTABLE

USS has leased 10,031 sq ft at Unit 5, White Lion Retail Park to Comet on a 10-year lease at £170,527 pa, equating to £17 psf. Wilkinson Williams and Chase & Partners are letting agents and Stephen Smart & Co advised the tenant.


? FULHAM

Plus Shops has leased Unit 8 in the Fulham Broadway shopping centre to Monsoon at £159,500 pa after a three-month rent-free period. The property has a 1,954-sq ft ground floor and a 1,578-sq ft basement. Kitchen La Frenais Morgan was letting agent and Montagu Evans advised Monsoon.


? HASTINGS

Vision Express has taken a new 10-year lease on unit SU3 in the Priory Meadow shopping centre. The unit provides 2,558 sq ft and a rent of £85,000 pa has been agreed. BTWSheills and Cradick & Co are letting agents and CBRE advised the tenant.


? LEIGH

The Atmore Group has signed Holland & Barrett for Unit 26 in the Spinning Gate shopping centre. The property provides 704 sq ft on ground floor, together with a first floor of 812 sq ft, and a new 10-year lease was agreed at £30,500 pa. Holland & Barrett was represented by Smith Price and The Atmore Group by Legat Owen.


? LINCOLN

Standard Life Investments has let the 29,978-sq ft Unit E, St Marks to Bhs on a new 15-year lease at £449,670 pa, equating to £15 psf. And Maplin has taken the 5,297-sq ft Unit E2 on a 15-year lease at £119,182 pa, equating to £22.50 psf. Wilkinson Williams and Strutt & Parker are letting agents. CBRE advised Bhs and Robert Bebington & Partners advised Maplin.


? MANCHESTER

USS has leased the 2,631-sq ft Unit 14 at the Manchester Fort Shopping Park to Carphone Warehouse on a 10-year lease at £118,395 pa, equating to £45 psf. Wilkinson Williams and Harvey Spack Field are letting agents and Briant Champion Long advised the tenant.


? NEWBURY

Card Factory has taken Unit 19 in the Kennet Centre, providing 1,154 sq ft on a new 10-year lease at £46,569 pa. Savills advised the lessor, Plus Shops and Fawley Watson Booth represented the tenant.


? ROMFORD

La Senza has taken a 10-year lease on Unit E5 in the Liberty shopping centre at a rent of £167,000 pa after a three-month rent-free period. The 2,133-sq ft unit has a further 736 sq ft of ancillary/storage space at first floor. CBRE acted on behalf of the Liberty Centre's owner Cosgrave.


? SWANSEA

Currys has taken Unit 8 on the Pontarddulais Road retail park, providing 16,765 sq ft, on a 15-year lease at £360,448 pa, equating to £21.50 psf. Wilkinson Williams & Colliers CRE were letting agents on behalf of Land Securities.


? TELFORD

The Telford Shopping Centre Limited Partnership has leased 108 The Border, Telford shopping centre, to Card Factory on a new 10-year lease at £159,000 pax. The unit provides 2,713 sq ft of sales space. Savills was letting agent and Fawley Watson Booth represented the tenant.


? WASHINGTON

Gamestation has taken a new 10-year lease on Unit 26 The Galleries shopping centre at £60,000 pa. The unit provides 1,139 sq ft. Williams Gunter Hardwick represented the tenant and Lunson Mitchenall was letting agent on behalf of PruPim.


? Grimsby

Eskimoo has acquired its first store at 12/14 Flottergate Mall in the Grosvenor Shopping Centre Fund's Freshney Place shopping centre. The milkshake retailer has taken a new 10-year lease on the 471-sq ft unit at £25,500 pa. The tenant was advised by Savills and the Grosvenor Shopping Centre Fund was represented by Churston Heard.



? Leeds

Town Centre Securities has let Unit 76 at the Merrion Centre to ModelZone. The model retailer has agreed a new 10-year lease on the unit, which totals 1,715 sq ft, and will pay an annual rent of £34,000. The landlord was advised by Savills.



? Yeovil

UBS Global Asset Management has secured two new lettings at the Quedam Centre. 3 Store has taken Unit 9 comprising 1,634 sq ft on a new 10-year lease at £67,500 pa. And Supercuts has acquired a 670 sq ft outlet on a new 10-year lease at £24,000 pa. The landlord was advised by Capital Retail and Savills. Michael Peddar & Co advised Hutchinson 3G (UK) while Supercuts was represented by Leslie Perkins.


Warner signs four at the Pallasades

Warner Estate has signed four new fashion tenants at its Pallasades shopping centre in Birmingham city centre.

Select has taken 5,000 sq ft at £73 psf; Unze has taken 1,240 sq ft on a 15-year lease at £75,000 pa; Easy Fashion has taken 1,423 sq ft on a 15-year lease at £55,000 and Blue Banana has agreed a 10-year lease on 3,915 sq ft at £120,000 pa.

Warner Estate property director Michael Stevens said: "We are delighted to welcome these vibrant upcoming names to the Pallasades shopping centre; it is a great boost to the fashion line-up at the Pallasades and complements the urban fashion offer in Birmingham city centre."

Wright Silverwood and CBRE are the joint agents for The Pallasades.
