Princesshay, Land Securities' 480,000 sq ft retail-led project in Exeter, is now 80 per cent pre-let ahead of its autumn opening following eight new lettings.
The latest retailers to join the scheme are: Karen Millen, Coast, Schuh, Hobbs, Jane Norman, Oasis, Principles and River Island taking 27,986 sq ft between them. The newly signed retailers will join a strong fashion line-up including Zara, Quiksilver, Jack Wills, Crew Clothing Co and Fat Face.
In addition to a flagship Debenhams department store and national retailers, the scheme provides 14 smaller units suitable for independent and niche traders. Stem, a contemporary florist, and Orange Tree, a local home accessories and gift store, will join specialist retailers Neal's Yard, Ringtons Tea & Coffee, Crabtree & Evelyn and Parchment to create a unique retail mix and shopping experience in Exeter city centre.
Richard Akers, Land Securities' managing director retail said: "Land Securities has had a tremendous response to Princesshay. We have demonstrated that if you are offering a high quality product in the right location the retailers will respond positively. We are confident that we open a fully let destination in the autumn that is unlike anything else in the region."
