Belfast's Park Centre has begun its third phase of a £10m expansion and refurbishment project.
The radical transformation, which started in September 2004, will see the original mall demolished and rebuilt to modern specifications. Work has already commenced on the £4m third phase, with the new mall expected to be opened in August of this year. Further work will then create new units fronting onto the mall.
Brian Gaffney of managing and letting agents Colliers CRE said the work will further increase the centre's appeal to leading retailers and shoppers.
"The Park Centre enjoys extremely strong fundamentals, with excellent car parking, unrivalled proximity to main arterial routes in and out of Belfast and a realistic catchment area of more than 400,000 people," he said.
