Roscommon County Council has given Dublin-based Palladio Properties the go-ahead for a large mixed use retail and commercial development at Cortober, Carrick-on-Shannon. The development, on a 3.34 ha site, will include a business campus.
The main focus of the retail area will be an anchor unit selling food and drapery, in 4,180 sq m, as well as a secondary anchor unit. The new centre will have over 500 car parking spaces.
The council turned down three retail units planned for the centre, each around 500 sq m.
