St David's shopping centre in Cardiff went all out to mark Wales's national day on St David's Day with a packed programme of activities.
One of Wales's oldest regiments, the 1st Queen's Dragoon Guards, marched into the centre behind its band to mark the celebrations and to get shoppers involved in one of Wales's oldest traditions - raw leek-eating.
