BERNARD FERRIS has joined the KING STURGE shopping centre management team as consultant. For now, he will continue the work he has been doing at the Triangle shopping centre, Manchester, but will ultimately be working on a number of schemes in the King Sturge portfolio.


LUNSON MITCHENALL has appointed BIANCA VLCEK to its retail investment team. She joins from Donaldsons where she worked as a senior surveyor within the shopping centre investment division. An Australian national, Bianca studied Business in Property at RMIT University, Melbourne.


ROBERT GOODMAN has been appointed as the new centre director for thecentre:mk, the 1.3m sq ft regional shopping centre owned by HERMES REAL ESTATE and PRUDENTIAL. He joins from BAA where he was retail, marketing and commercial contracts director at Budapest Airport in Hungary.


ANDREW CRONIE has been appointed centre manager at THE GYLE shopping centre in Edinburgh. He has a strong track record in retail management with major stores, including Selfridges, Matalan and, most recently, as regional controller at Poundstretcher/Instore.


HAMMERSON has appointed PAUL EDWARDS as head of sustainability. He comes from a background of delivering sustainability for both Arup and Bovis Lend Lease in Australia, USA and Asia Pacific.

CRAIG WARD has been appointed a director of Hutley Fund Management. He will be responsible for the company's growing German portfolio, which currently stands at a value of ?60m and spans the office, retail and leisure sectors.


National building maintenance provider INTEGRAL has recruited TIM STRINGER to head up its new retail and leisure fit-out business. A chartered builder, he has spent the past 20 years with Pearce Group, where, since 2001, he held responsibility for a number of key leisure and retail clients, including a £20m refurbishment programme for Primark.


KELLEY GARDNER has joined Stourbridge's RYEMARKET CENTRE as management assistant. She formerly worked in the advertising department at Stourbridge News.


PAULINE RANTA has joined TOOLBOX MARKETING where she will help implement its growing international portfolio and, in particular, the marketing of the Kamppi shopping centre in Helsinki, Finland.


GML ESTATES and LAND SECURITIES have appointed NOEL MAGILL as centre director for The Outlet at Bridgewater Park in Banbridge, Northern Ireland. He spent 17 years with the Mexx clothing chain, including eight years as country manager for its UK and Ireland outlet stores.
