The SCEPTRE Awards, rewarding the best practice and the best people in the UK and Ireland shopping centre industry, are back - and they're bigger and better than ever.
The superb ballroom at the Dorchester on London's Park Lane will see awards presented in 15 categories on Wednesday 20 June.
As in 2006, the Centre Manager of the Year awards are divided into three different sized bands: small (up to 150,000 sq ft), medium (150,001 to 500,000 sq ft) and large (more than 500,001 sq ft).
All are open to managers of shopping centres, outlet malls and on-site managed retail parks.
Reflecting the continued success of Shopping Centre Ireland magazine, three categories will be dedicated to the Irish market - Shopping Centre Manager of the Year, Agent of the Year and Developer of the Year.
And a new category has been introduced for 2007: Environmental Management Award of the Year, which reflects the growing awareness of green issues and sustainability in the shopping centre industry.
The Retailer of the Year award and the three Irish categories will be decided by a poll of Shopping Centre and Shopping Centre Ireland readers. All you have to do is log on to the website to vote.
The shortlist for Retailer of the Year has now been released. Five retailers large and small and trading across a range of categories have been suggested. Which one do you think has made the greatest contribution to the retail scene in the past year?
Entrants are, of course, welcome for all the other categories as well, so why not start penning yours now? Remember, the judges will be looking for hard evidence of achievement.
For further information please call Nicola Chesson in the William Reed events team on 01293 867629 or visit the website.
