Land Securities has secured two new tenants for the Almondvale shopping centre with Body Shop and Card Factory both signing 10-year leases. Card Factory will occupy 1,600 sq ft on ground floor only at 74 Almondvale South at a rent of £114,710 pa, and Body Shop will trade from a ground floor unit of 1,200 sq ft at 110 Almondvale South. Montagu Evans and Culverwell were joint letting agents. Savills acted for Body Shop and Fawley Watson Booth for Card Factory.

Four new retailers have signed up for Sapphire Retail Fund's Queens Arcade in Cardiff. New Look has taken a new 17,500 sq ft store on a 15-year lease at £575,000 pax. Footlocker has acquired a unit of 3,670 sq ft on a new 15-year lease at a commencing rental of £275,000 pax. At the same time the Post Office has taken Units 9 and 10 to form a new 4,385 sq ft Head Post Office on a new 15-year lease at a commencing rental of £150,000 pax. Half Price Jewellers has taken Unit 14, providing a ground floor sales area of 1,017 sq ft with first floor ancillary accommodation of 770 sq ft, on a 10-year lease at £55,000 pax. Hartnell Taylor Cook and King Sturge are letting agents. CB Richard Ellis advised New Look, Stalder & Co Footlocker, Cooke & Arkwright the Post Office and Wright Silverwood Half Price Jewellers.
