British Land has become the first company to invest in an interactive web-based risk management system, installed across its £multi-billion property portfolio. No other company has until now installed such a system.
National Britannia's ground-breaking online system, e-Risk Manager, allows management to monitor, in real time, compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation and track staff adherence to risk management procedures. Modules covered by the system include health and safety, fire, water, asbestos, environmental and disability access.
Justin Snoxall, British Land director responsible for safety, and health and environmental risk management, said: "This is the first time we have specified a single risk management system. National Britannia has emerged as a clear frontrunner whose expertise can help us optimise protection for users of our properties."
