Washington Green Fine Art has taken 737 sq ft on a five-year lease at £65,000 pa. Spanish restaurant La Tasca has taken a 3,000 sq ft unit on a 27-year lease at £170,000 pa. CWM is retained retail letting agent.
Butlers serves up new Solihull store
The German homeware retailer Butlers has taken 19-21 Mill Lane, Solihull on a 10-year lease from Morley Fund Management at a rent of £270,000 pa. The unit totals 10,857 sq ft.
The family-run company, which has more than 50 outlets in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, opened its first UK store last summer in the Crown Arcade in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey and has since opened a flagship on Brompton Road, London SW3 and a further unit at the N1 Shopping Centre in Islington, London.
Harper Dennis Hobbs is retained to acquire a further five stores this year, of 2,500 to 3,500 sq ft, in major cities and shopping centres throughout the UK.
