Hotel Chocolat is continuing to drive forward its store expansion program with new deals signed at five centres.
The new transactions, completed by retained agent Briant Champion Long, bring the Hotel Chocolat chain to 16.
Hotel Chocolat has taken a new 10-year lease on 1,495 sq ft at Westfield's Merry Hill shopping centre in Dudley at £150,000 pax with an ingoing incentive package included.
In Manchester, the retailer has taken a new 2,238 sq ft unit in the recently-completed extension to the Arndale Centre on a 10-year lease at £200,000 pax with incentives.
At the Telford shopping centre Hotel Chocolat has taken 1,260 sq ft at ground floor plus basement space. A new 10-year lease was agreed with landlord USS at £130,000 pax. A rent-free period was granted.
At The Glades in Bromley the retailer has taken a new 10-year lease on a unit near the main entrance at ground floor level at a rent of £147,000 pax commencing at the end of a rent free period.
And finally at Capital Shopping Centres' Lakeside in Thurrock a unit of 1,870 sq ft has been taken at a rent in excess of £200,000 pax with an ingoing incentive package.
According to BCL director Paul Souber Hotel Chocolat is in the market for shopping centre and high street units of between 800 and 1,200 sq ft.
