Teeny-pop trio McFly played a live set in the Food Terrace at Ocean Terminal in Edinburgh last month. The band launched their new single with a six-song set played live in the Food Terrace to a screaming crowd of about 2,000, and they then signed 600 autographs in the HMV store.
According to centre manager Dennis Jones, Ocean Terminal has a proud history of music events. "This was the latest live gig. In the past we have had The Proclaimers, Bellfire, West Life, Boy George, The Shapeshifters and Pete Tong," he says.
And in 2003 Ocean Terminal hosted the MTV Music Awards which featured, Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, The Darkness and many more.
