BLENHEIM NORWEST has appointed MARK POWELL as operations manager for the Blenheim Centre, Hounslow. He joins the Blenheim Centre from Langney shopping centre, Eastbourne.

BRITISH LAND has appointed TIM KEEPING as centre manager for the Peacocks shopping centre in Woking. He has more than 18 years of retail experience, including the Belfry Shopping Centre, Redhill, and various management roles for the Allders department store group.

EDGERLEY SIMPSON HOWE & PARTNERS has promoted IAIN CAPJON to associate partner. He is responsible for the management of a portfolio of retail parks throughout the Midlands and south-east.

DRIVERS JONAS, managing agent of The Brunswick in London's Bloomsbury, has appointed JANET DANDY as centre manager. She has 10 years experience in the shopping centre industry and previously worked at the Windsor Royal Station shopping centre.

CAPITAL & REGIONAL has appointed PHILIP NEWTON as a non-executive director. He is the former chief executive of Merchant Retail Group and developed the Perfume Shop into one of the UK's most successful specialist retailers with over 130 outlets before it was acquired by Hutchison Whampoa in 2005.

MARK RYCRAFT, centre manager of the Crompton Place shopping centre in Bolton for the past three years, is moving to take up a new post as manager of Hartlepool's 180-unit Middleton Grange centre. He will be replaced by MALCOLM ANGUS.

MILLER DEVELOPMENTS has further expanded its retail team with the appointment of JONATHAN BROWN as development manager. He joins Miller from Rapleys, where he worked for two years in the development consultancy team as a development surveyor.

RELIANCE SECURITY SERVICES has announced four new board appointments: IAN FOSTER has been appointed operations director for the southern region; CHRIS BURNELL has been appointed operations director for the northern region; MARK TUCKWELL has been appointed operations director for the London region and SANDRA BURRELL has been appointed as Patrol Net director. She will be responsible for the Reliance Patrol Net mobile response services business.

THE BRITISH PROPERTY FEDERATION has significantly increased its focus on environmental and sustainability issues and as a result has appointed MAGGIE BRENNEKE as assistant director of corporate responsibility. She joins the British Property Federation from Ecos Consulting.
