Intrepid biker Roger Allen has raised nearly £3,000 for Dreamflight - the charity for terminally ill children - by being the first to ride from John O'Groats to Land's End in under 24 hours.
On his trusty Harley Davidson Roger - recently appointed deputy centre manager at the London Trocadero - even took a 160-mile diversion to make the trip a round 1,000 miles and qualify for the Bunburner Gold award from the Iron Butt Association of America, which certifies riders for endurance events.
