ANDREW MARTIN, director of retail at Hermes, is to join the board of CB RICHARD ELLIS INVESTORS as a non-executive director on his retirement from the fund in July 2006.
RUSSELL BANHAM, head of shopping centre development at DONALDSONS, has been appointed an equity partner.
MICHAEL O'HAGAN, formerly manager of Castle Court in Belfast, has been appointed manager of the BLANCHARDSTOWN centre in Dublin.
LAND SECURITIES has appointed STEVEN JOHNSON as operations manager at the Lewisham Centre. He joins from the Freshwater group of companies where he was facilities manager and building surveyor. He replaces PAUL REDDEN, who has been promoted to centre manager at the Stratford Centre.
Leeds retail and leisure destination, THE LIGHT has appointed PAT COFFEY as its new general manager. His career in retail and shopping centre management spans over 30 years and most recently he spent 10 years in factory outlet management with Freeport. At the same time The Light has promoted TREVOR BICKERS to car park manager. He joined the centre as car park controller in 2002.
JOHN SCOTT has been appointed as security manager of the METROCENTRE in Gateshead. An ex-Northumbria police officer he has 30 years of experience.
RELIANCE SECURITY SERVICES has appointed MICHAEL CARRÉ to the position of managing director. He has been with Reliance since September 1998, firstly in the role of commercial director and more recently as operations director.
REBECCA YOUNG has joined LAND SECURITIES as portfolio manager. Her remit includes the 515,000 sq ft Bridges shopping centre in Sunderland.
DONALDSONS has established a shopping centre and high street retail agency team in its Manchester office. Retail partner MATT ILLINGWORTH has moved from the Leeds office to head the team and he is joined by principal surveyor ANDREW HYNES, who was previously at Christie & Co and the Arcadia Group, and SAMMY JONES who has joined as a graduate surveyor from Jones Lang LaSalle.
CHURSTON HEARD has appointed JIM MOLONEY as associate director. Previously head of retail at Glenny, he will be responsible for clients including Argos, River Island and JD Sports.
NICK THOMPSON has been appointed non-executive director of the LEND LEASE RETAIL PARTNERSHIP. The move follows his retirement from Prudential Property Investment Managers, where he was head of investment management.
