Multi Development has secured two new tenants for Victoria Square, its £320m mixed-use regeneration scheme in Belfast city centre. River Island and Goldsmiths will trade side-by-side on the upper ground level of the scheme's Grand Colonnade.
River Island will trade from 17,000 sq ft, more than twice the size of its existing offer, and Goldsmiths is taking 2,000 sq ft. Other brands already signed up include House of Fraser with Northern Ireland's largest department store, H&M, Virgin Megastore and Lunn's.
Richard Green, Multi's UK leasing manager, said: "The demand from retailers for unit shops within Victoria Square has been tremendous. Retailers recognise that Victoria Square will become the prominent retail destination in Northern Ireland and don't wish to be notably absent from what is the most innovative and exciting development this city has ever seen."
Construction on the 800,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme is progressing well and Victoria Square is on target to open in Spring 2008.
