Four more leading fashion retailers have joined The Bristol Alliance's 1 million sq ft redevelopment of Bristol city centre. Inditex is taking stores for its Zara and Bershka brands and Reiss and Schuh have also signed.
All four retailers are new to Bristol. Zara will trade from 22,000 sq ft and Bershka from 5,700 sq ft. House of Fraser and Harvey Nichols will anchor the scheme and other MSUs have been pre-let to New Look, H&M, TopShop and Dorothy Perkins .
Bristol Alliance leasing director Keith Stone said: "We are now over 50 per cent let by floor area - either signed or in solicitors' hands - which is well ahead of our programme. There are further lettings in the pipeline, including a number of exciting cafés and restaurants which demonstrates how Bristol will make the dramatic change to a vibrant 24 hour city."
Work on the development started in September last year and the development is on track for opening in Autumn 2008. The Bristol Alliance is a joint venture between Land Securities and Hammerson and letting agents are Donaldsons and Lunson Mitchenall.
