Antrim

Chinese herbalist Dr China has taken Unit 17 in the Castle Centre at a rent of £32,500 pa. Hamilton Osborne King and Gerald Eve advised the tenant.


Ballymena

Wildrose Properties has completed the letting of the new food court at the Tower Centre. The Streat Franchising has taken 431 sq ft on a 10-year lease at a base rent of £21,500 pa. Bens Deli has taken 596 sq ft on a 15-year lease at a base rent of £29,750 pa. And Burger King has taken 800 sq ft on a 20-year lease at a base rent of £32,500 pa. DTZ McCombe Pierce was letting agent and Lisney advised Bens.


Ballymena

Wildrose Properties has let units 28 & 28a in the Tower Centre to Tyrone Irish Gold. The 1,418 sq ft unit was let on a new 10-year lease at £90,000 pa. DTZ McCombe Pierce was agent.


Belfast

Cosmetique has acquired the lease on Unit 23, Queens Arcade. The 286 sq ft unit is held on a 10-year lease from May 2004 at £14,000 pa. DTZ McCombe Pierce represented Cosmetique. BTW Shiells advised the assignor


Blanchardstown

Borders is to open its first store in the Republic of Ireland, with a 20,000-sq ft two-storey superstore on the West End Retail Park. A 25-year lease has been agreed at circa €430 per sq m. Hamilton Osborne King is agent


Craigavon

Craigavon Central, landlord of the Rushmere Shopping Centre, has agreed a 15-year lease to Thorntons on a 575 sq ft unit opposite O'Briens Sandwich Bar. A rent of £31,500 pa was agreed. Hamilton Osborne King was letting agent and Thorntons was represented by Churston Heard.


Drogheda

Pull & Bear, advised by Harper Dennis Hobbs, has acquired Unit 118, Scotch Hall Shopping Centre for its third store in Ireland. Inditex's youth fashion brand has taken the 319 sq m unit on a 25-year lease from Edward Holdings at a rent of €170,000 pa. Douglas Newman Good advised Edward Holdings.
