Marks & Spencer has been confirmed as the anchor tenant in the St Laurence Town Centre scheme in Drogheda. The 50,000 sq m development forms an extension of the main shopping area of West Street and will house over 35 retail units with over 450 car spaces.
This will be Marks & Spencer's 13th store in the Republic. It will have direct access from the centre's car park. Developer Parolen has been working on the St Laurence scheme since 2002 and completion is expected before the end of 2006.
Larry Brennan, retail director at letting agent Hamilton Osborne King said: "As one of two major shopping centres opening in 2006 the M&S letting will undoubtedly attract interest form Irish, international and local retailers."
