Swedish fashion giant H&M is to open its second store in Northern Ireland at the Fairhill Shopping Centre, Ballymena. It has agreed to take a 17,000 sq ft store trading over two levels.
Fairhill Shopping Centre, owned by Northern Ireland-based SVM Properties, is anchored by Marks & Spencer and Bhs and other tenants include Next, River Island, Oasis, Top Shop, La Senza, Miss Sixty, Faith, Dorothy Perkins and Vero Moda.
Other new arrivals include Starbucks and Phones 4U while Specsavers is relocating to larger premises to facilitate the new H&M store.
Colin Mathewson, director at letting agent Osborne King, said: "The addition of H&M to the tenant line-up is a further endorsement of the position Ballymena holds as a major catchment area within Northern Ireland and the dominance of this particular scheme within Ballymena Town Centre."
