Hobbs has agreed a 15-year lease on Unit 219, The Glades, comprising 1,765 sq ft with 323 sq ft of remote storage. Hobbs is paying a base rent of £135,000 pa. Stephen Kane & Co advised the tenant. Lunson Mitchenall and Strutt & Parker are letting agents.

Brantano Footwear has taken a new 15-year lease on a 5,000-sq ft unit at the Pensarn Retail Park. The rent agreed is £67,500 pa. The first phase of Pensarn Retail Park, which was developed by Audley Developments, was completed in July 2004. It was acquired by David Pearl's Structadene Group as part of its acquisition of Newport Holdings in 2004.

CS Lounge Suites has taken a 10,000-sq ft unit on the Grand Junction Retail Park at £24 psf on a 15-year lease. To facilitate the deal Allied Carpets has agreed to relocate into a nearby 7,500-sq ft unit. The landlord, UBS Triton Property Fund, was advised by Savills. The tenant was represented by Mason Owen.

Brantano Footwear has taken a new 15-year lease on Unit 4C, Cwmbran Retail Park at £120,000 pa. The property provides 7,500 sq ft. The landlord, Asda Property, was represented by Wilkinson Williams.

? Glasgow

Silverscreen has taken a 2,355-sq ft unit unit in a central location on the lower level of the Braehead shopping centre. It has agreed a new 15-year lease at a base rent of £242,000 pax. Blair Kirkman represented Silverscreen.

? Grimsby

Bank Fashion has taken a combination of Units 28 and 30 Friargate Mall, providing 3,825 sq ft on ground and first floor, on a new 10-year lease at £205,000 pa. The lessor, the Grosvenor Shopping Centre Fund, was represented by Donaldsons and Churston Heard. Brady represented Bank.

Monsoon has taken the 22-24 Friargate Mall providing 3,825 sq ft on ground and first floors. A new 15-year lease has been agreed at £195,000 pa. Dalgleish acted on behalf of Monsoon and the lessor, the Grosvenor Shopping Centre Fund, was represented by Donaldsons and Churston Heard.

Land of Leather has taken 10,000 sq ft at White City Retail Park in Old Trafford on a new 15-year lease at a rent of £26.50 psf. Savills and Petch Hall are letting agents for Land Securities.

Alanis has let the 1,633-sq ft Unit 26 at The Kennet Centre, to Bags Etc on a new 10-year lease at £38,500. Savills was letting agent.
