Plan for 90 new stores and 15 donation centres over next three years

Age UK has instructed Savills to significantly expand its capacity and regional network. The portfolio currently stands at 450 stores and now the charity is looking for another units of between 1,000 and 5,000 sq ft in high street locations as well as market towns, shopping parks, district centres and retail schemes anchored by food stores.

Steve Henderson, retail director at Savills, said: “The additional shops will play a key role in increasing capacity and market awareness, ultimately generating more funds which the charity can invest back into the much needed services it provides for people in later life.”
