Laurie Barton-Wright, Centre Manager, Royal Victoria Place

Laurie started out in shopping centres in 1996 working for Grosvenor’s Estates at the Market Place in Bolton as a marketing assistant. From there she moved onto a career in marketing working for several property companies in shopping centres and factory outlets including Westfield Shopping towns Ltd and Lend Lease and winning the SCEPTRE Marketing Manager of the Year in 2006. From marketing she moved to centre management in 2007 working for Cushman & Wakefield on the Hermes-owned scheme, The St Johns Centre in Leeds city centre. She gained the BCSC Diploma in SCM in 2009 and then went on to win a Purple Apple Award and SCEPTRE Centre Manager of the Year in 2010. She has recently returned to Westfield in February 2011 as Centre Manager for Royal Victoria Place in Tunbridge Wells.
