St Modwen fill ex-Woolworths stores at Farnborough and Elephant & Castle

St. Modwen has re-let the former Woolworths stores at its Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre and Farnborough town centre regeneration schemes.

Shoe retailer Clarks will take a 7,073-sq ft unit on the ground floor at Elephant & Castle while Poundland, the biggest single price retailer in Europe, will take 11,500 sq ft at Farnborough

Poundland was represented by Smith Price and Clarks by Capital Retail.

Development manager James Stockdale said: “These deals show that we can realise the value of these units and bring them back into operation at popular shopping locations.”
