Chapman Taylor architects has been awarded a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category, the same year the practice celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Chapman Taylor is the only architectural practice to win the award this year for outstanding commercial success in international trade – more than doubling overseas earnings over the three year review period – 2006, 2007 and 2008.
“I feel it is the highest form of recognition of our international team’s efforts and ability,” said director Christopher Lanksbury. “We are particularly proud that our practice is made up of many different nationalities all working towards a common goal.”
Originally formed in 1959, Chapman Taylor now operates from 16 offices located across Western and Eastern Europe, Asia, South America and the Middle East. The practice undertakes projects worldwide, has markets in 70 countries and completed 27 projects in 11 countries in 2008.
