BILL LAURIE, who is in his eighth year as sales and marketing director of METRIC PARKING, is leaving his present position at the end of April. He will retain his directorship for the remainder of the year and will also continue to oversee Metric’s sales department in a part time capacity, supporting Richard Boultbee who has recently been appointed Metric’s UK sales and marketing manager.

MCARTHURGLEN has appointed HENRIK MADSEN as managing director, UK and Northern Europe. Since joining the company in 2007 he has been regional director UK. At the same time McArthurGlen has appointed COLIN WILDING to the newly created position of UK country manager. He will retain his current role as general manager of Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet.

COLLIERS JACKSON-STOPS has appointed JOHN CASEY as an associate director in its investment department based in Dublin. He joins Colliers Jackson-Stops from the Dublin agency HWBC where he specialised in investment acquisitions in Ireland, UK and Germany for a range of private and institutional clients.

DORMA has appointed IAN HOWELL as its key sales executive for its automatics and service divisions in Northern Ireland. Since 2004 he has been at MB Architectural, a leading architectural ironmongery company and agent for Dorma door controls in Northern Ireland.

HAMMERSON has appointed MORGAN BONE as its new director of corporate communications. He will be responsible for investor relations and corporate communications activities across the UK and French operations, and his appointment follows the retirement of his long-serving predecessor CHRIS SMITH who spent 19 years with the company. Bone joins Hammerson from the City financial PR and investor relations consultancy Fishburn Hedges, where he served as a group board director.
