Airvent Systems Services Limited is sad to announce the recent death of Henri Fraser after a brave 18-month battle with cancer. Henri held the position of sales and marketing director within Airvent and he was highly respected for his knowledge, expertise and experience of smoke control systems.
A chartered engineer, he started his career in the marine engineering sector before spending almost 20 years in the fire protection sector at a time when the industry was undergoing rapid evolution as technology and the regulatory environment changed.
He was responsible for Airvent's business relationships with some of the UK's biggest shopping centre owners, and he was an advisor to a range of companies including Capital Shopping Centres, Capital & Regional's Mall Corporation, Standard Life and Westfield
His colleague Charles Hurdman said: "During his 14 years with the company Henri made a huge contribution to the growth and success of the organisation, which led in part to Airvent becoming one of the foremost authorities within the UK smoke control industry.
"Henri will be greatly missed by his colleagues and customers alike, although his legacy will live on within Airvent for many years to come."
