A new look for St Enoch

The St Enoch Centre in Glasgow has announced plans for a major refurbishment of its car parking facilities as part of the scheme's £100m transformation.

The car park, which is on seven levels and accommodates spaces for 750 vehicles, was acquired last summer from Glasgow City Council by the centre's owner and manager, Ivanhoe Cambridge, in a £10m deal.

Now, in tandem with the wider refurbishment of the centre and its surrounding areas, a further £2m is being invested to enhance parking services at the mall. The work includes major upgrading of the parking areas, provision of enhanced lighting and new ticket machines, improved signage and lift lobbies, installation of CCTV systems and general repairs.

Susan Nicol, general manager of the St Enoch Centre, said: "The acquisition of the car park was an important part of our overall plan for the centre. We are fortunate in having such an extensive car parking area."
