Pavers' best foot goes forward

A Junction One shopping centre employee has reached the final of the prestigious Drapers Footwear Awards 2007.
Antrim-born Shauna Close will compete against five other retail sales staff from across the UK and Ireland to win the title of Sales Assistant of the Year.
Shauna, a supervisor with Junction One shoe store Pavers, will be heading off to a gala awards evening held at the London Hilton on Park Lane on May 16.
Centre manager Hugh Black said it was a great achievement for Junction One and congratulated Shauna on her success.
"Shauna is a natural with both customers and staff and consistently achieves high levels of sales at our Pavers outlet. We all wish her the very best of luck."
In addition to the Drapers Footwear Awards accolade, Shauna has been nominated by the Wholesale and Retail Training Council for Modern Apprentice of the Year 2007 having completed her NVQ Level 3 award.
