Bagenalstown to get new retail park

Published:  10 November, 2006

Bagenalstown, Co Carlow, is to get a new development that will include nine retail warehousing units in two blocks. The project is being planned by Stephen Murphy and David Cullen.

Tom Brennan, a co-owner of the Sherry FitzGerald Brennan McDermott estate agency in the town, says close to 40ha of land has been sold in the past few months, all zoned for residential development. He expects the town to grow rapidly over the next few years and says the planned new retail park will be well located close to the planned new Dublin-Waterford motorway.
