Original Shoe Company has taken Unit SU505 in the Bullring Shopping Centre, providing 4,752 ft, on a new 10-year lease at £310,000 pax after a three-month rent-free period. Hammond Phillips advised the tenant and Cushman & Wakefield was letting agent on behalf of the Birmingham Alliance.

Early Learning Centre has taken Unit 19 in the Houndshill Shopping Centre, providing 1,740 sq ft of sales space and 400 sq ft of storage space on a new 15-year lease at £81,750 pax. Hammond Phillips was the letting agent.

Bracknell Regeneration Partnership has secured two new tenants in Princess Square. Mobile phone retailer Orange will occupy a 1,201 sq ft unit taken on a 10-year lease at £86,250 pax. At the same time BB's Coffee & Muffins, an existing tenant on the first floor of Princess Square, has taken a kiosk unit on a 15-year lease at £45,000 pax. The Bracknell Regeneration partnership is a joint venture between Schroder Exempt Property Unit Trust and Legal & General.

Unit 24 at the Cannock Shopping Centre, totalling 1,454 sq ft, has been taken by T Mobile on a 15-year lease at a rent of £48,000 pa. Churston Heard advised the landlord, CIT Group, and T Mobile was advised by Harper Dennis Hobbs.

T Mobile has taken 5 Newgate Row at the Grosvenor shopping centre on a 15-year lease at £115,000 pa, The unit totals 999 sq ft. Landlord The Mall was advised by Tushingham Moore. T Mobile was advised by Harper Dennis Hobbs.

Redevco UK has secured the letting of the remaining retail unit at its redevelopment of 33 Princes Street. European fashion retailer Mexx has taken a new 15-year lease on the 13,660 sq ft unit which is arranged over basement and ground floors. Mexx will be paying an average rent of £662,500 pa over the first five years of the term and will benefit from a capital contribution. Cushman & Wakefield and Culverwell are letting agents and Hammond Phillips advised Mexx.

Unit 30B at the Hart Shopping Centre has been taken by T Mobile on a 15-year lease at an annual rent of £38,000. The ground floor retail space totals 643 sq ft. Landlord Plus Shops was advised by Colliers CRE. T Mobile was advised by Harper Dennis Hobbs.

Grosvenor Shopping Centre Fund, advised by Churston Heard, has let 56 Friargate in the Freshney Place Shopping Centre to Superdrug. The retailer has taken approximately 5,500 sq ft of ground floor sales space on a new 15-year lease at a commencing rent of £200,000 pa. Glen Davidson Angus represented Superdrug.

Early Learning Centre, advised by Savills, has expanded into unit 29 at the Newlands Centre. The children's toy retailer has taken 2,224 sq ft at ground floor with 1,528 sq ft at first floor, on a 10-year lease at £72,500 pa. Landlord Boultbee was represented by Churston Heard.

Poundland has taken a new 10-year lease on Unit 17, the St Johns Shopping Centre, at a commencing rent of £220,000 pa. The unit provides 7,518 sq ft. The tenant was represented by Jones Retail.

Helical Bar, advised by Savills, has secured Card Factory as its latest tenant at the Garden Square Shopping Centre. The developer has taken a surrender of the existing lease on Unit 17, which was trading as Premier League Sports, and re-let it on a new 10-year lease at £39,000 pa. The unit comprises 937 sq ft of ground floor sales space with 497 sq ft of first floor office space. Card Factory was represented by Fawley Watson Booth.

ING has let 42 Market Mall at the Clock Towers Shopping Centre to Phones4U. The mobile phone retailer has taken the unit, comprising 1,347 sq of ground floor space with an additional 400 sq ft on the first floor, on a new 10 year lease at a rent of £63,000pa. The Brunel Unit Trust has let 735 sq ft of retail space at Unit 34 The Arcade, Brunel Centre, to Nails Solutions on a 5-year lease at an annual rental of £14,500. Alder King was letting agent on behalf of The Brunel Unit Trust and Nails Solutions was unrepresented.

Monsoon has taken a new 10-year lease on 7,260 sq ft at the Monks Cross Shopping Park, at a rent of £45 per sq ft. The unit was previously occupied by Suits Direct. Morgan Williams and Savills acted for the landlord, The Monks Cross Shopping Park Trust. Donaldsons represented Monsoon.

The latest arrival at Leeds' Victoria Quarter is international luxury goods retailer Louis Vuitton which has taken a 2,425 sq ft unit at 2 County Arcade/96 Briggate by way of a new 15-year lease. A rent £245,000 has been agreed. Landlord Highstone Estates was represented by Fawley Watson Booth and LVMH Fashion Group by Harper Dennis Hobbs.
