ROBERT WALDEN, fund surveyor at UNIVERSITIES SUPERANNUATION SCHEME, has resigned after nearly 18 years with the fund during which time he grew the property portfolio from £500m to just over £2bn. He is looking to concentrate on development and regeneration.
DRIVERS JONAS has appointed LORRAINE WILKIE as an associate partner and head of management for Scotland. She joins from Reith Lambert and her role will be to expand and develop Drivers Jonas' property management services throughout Scotland.
MARK NEWTON has returned to SIMONS DEVELOPMENTS as development director. He previously worked with the company from 1998 to 2004 before leaving to join Wilson Bowden Developments. He will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the £175m mixed-use development at Trinity Walk, Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
PRIMAL PR has appointed SIMON LLOYD as senior account director and LOUISE CONSTABLE as account manager.
SCHRODERS has appointed PETER COOPER as head of retail and leisure asset management. Previously retail director at Allied London, he will be responsible for the retail and leisure assets including Monk's Cross in York and Mermaid Quay in Cardiff.
MARK MILLWARD, head of consultancy at FOOTFALL, has left the company to establish an independent retail consultancy, Millward Associates.
NICK DOYLE, former regional director of St Modwen; PAUL STANLEY, ex director of a niche corporate property consultancy and COLIN MCQUESTON, also a former director of St Modwen, have set up COPLAN ESTATES, a new property vehicle specialising in mixed use investment and development.
PETER GOLIGHTLY has returned to THE FOUNDRY shopping centre in Scunthorpe as centre manager almost 12 years after he last held the position. In the interim he has held management positions at the The Walnuts shopping centre in Orpington, Kent and at Kensington in London.
THE SCOTTISH RETAIL PROPERTY LIMITED PARTNERSHIP, owner and manager of East Kilbride shopping centre, has appointed MICHELLE MCCABE as retail liaison manager. She previously held credit management positions at Coca-Cola.
CHRISTOPHER YANNAGHAS, head of property management at FG Burnett, has been promoted to associate.
NICK YOUNG, head of retail agency at STRUTT & PARKER, has been promoted to equity partner.
NEIL MACKILLIGIN has taken over from ALAN COLLETT as senior partner of Allsop. JON GERSHINSON, who heads the commercial valuations team, will take over from him as managing partner of the commercial board.
SAVILLS has appointed DAVID PARKER as director and its new head of rating. He was formerly a partner at NAI Fuller Peiser.
