Space to trade brings easyCoffee to St Nicholas Shopping Centre, Sutton
Space to trade has signed an agreement with easyCoffee, founded by Sir Stelios Haji-ioannouis and part of the easy family of brands, which includes easyJet, easyHotel, easyGym and easyCar.
easyCoffee worked with Space to trade, Montagu Evans and the Centre team to bring the brand to the St Nicholas Shopping Centre, Sutton, as part of the current redevelopment of the Centre, with easyCoffee launching in the same week that the Empire Cinema planned to reopen at the Centre after extensive renovations.
CEO Nathan Lowry says: “easyCoffee has been popping up all over London, with shops in Covent Garden and Leicester Square and also now in Blackburn, Hastings, Edinburgh. Finally we have landed in Sutton at St Nicholas Shopping Centre. We are just so chuffed to have found the right location with plenty of seating, and a friendly local team, and cannot wait to be a part of the neighbourhood. I am personally looking forward to meeting the locals and giving them a great product at a great price!’
Tina Shah, Commercial Director at Space to trade was introduced to the brand in 2017, when they opened the easyCoffee coffee shop at The Priory Shopping Centre in Dartford; another shopping centre where Space to trade manage the commercialisation. She said: “it’s been very exciting working with easyCoffee for the launch in Sutton. It’s all part of Centre’s redevelopment plans and the improvement the tenant mix there. We’re hoping to launch easyCoffee into other centres across our portfolio too.”
