BlackRock hits 100 per cent in Clifton

Clifton Down shopping centre in Bristol fully let

BlackRock’s 90,000-sq ft Bristol mall is now fully let to a mix of national and independent brands following a flurry of recent lettings.

The centre has been refocused on convenience and independent retailers under the banner ‘Refreshingly Local.’ Reflecting this, German kitchen company Kutchenhaus, florist Lloyds Flowers, dry cleaner Laundra, gift shop Inca, chicken shop Happy Bird and chirorpactor Willow Life are among the recent arrivals joining anchors Boots and Sainsbury’s.

Centre manager Charlotte Jarrett said: “We have, through our tenants and marketing, sought to position Clifton Down as a friendly, local and convenient place to shop, with a fresh approach and eco-friendly footprint. Our footfall increased by 1.5 per cent over the last quarter against a national average decline of almost 3 per cent year-on-year which is agreat result particularly in the on-going uncertain climate.”
